We continue to invest in solid and long-term business relations and win-win partnerships. By 2020, more than 80% of our volume will be sourced from cooperatives or local exporters, impacting decent work and economic growth. Via our EFICO Foundation we invest in quality education, knowledge transfer and climate change.

Our commitments set out for 2020 are met:
In 2020 :
- we sourced about 80% directly from cooperatives, unions or local exporters, boosting local development and economic growth;
- 60% of our coffee sourced was verified or certified according to various sustainability standards;
- 11 projects were supported via our EFICO Foundation, with improved possibilities, empowerment and prosperity for 6,636 direct beneficiaries, and indirectly generating a positive impact on the lives of over 11,020 coffee families. This was possible thanks to the partnerships with 60 organizations and companies.

In 2019 :
- we sourced about 83% directly from cooperatives, unions or local exporters, boosting local development and economic growth;
- 54% of our coffee sourced was verified or certified according to various sustainability standards;
- 13 projects were supported via our EFICO Foundation, with improved possibilities, empowerment and prosperity for 5,975 direct beneficiaries, and indirectly generating a positive impact on the lives of over 8,797 coffee families. This was possible thanks to the partnerships with 65 organisations and companies.
2018:
At EFICO, personal relations with our suppliers are key. In 2018, we sourced about 85% directly from cooperatives, unions or local exporters, boosting local development and economic growth. In 2018, 53% of our coffee sourced was verified or certified according to various sustainability standards. Over the last 10 years, this volume quadrupled.
In 2018 , 14 projects were supported via Efico Foundation, with improved possibilities, empowerment and prosperity for 3,818 direct beneficiaries, and indirectly generating a positive impact on the lives of over 5,572 coffee families. This was possible thanks to the partnerships with 43 organisations and companies.
2017:
At EFICO, personal relations with our suppliers are key. In 2017, we sourced 87% directly from cooperatives, unions or local exporters, boosting local development and economic growth. In 2017, 51% of our coffee sourced was verified or certified according to various sustainability standards. Over the last 10 years, this volume quadrupled from 13% to 51%.
